Photo Anomaly at Burnt Hill:

For last six years I have been a member of NEARA and have truly enjoyed reading the NEARA Journal.  In the last Journal in the Book Review section I read about the standing stones in Heath and how flashing blue lights have been reported emanating from the hilltop in bad weather. [Volume 36 Number 2, Winter 2003, page 46.  "It is reported there are flashing blue lights emanating from the hill in bad weather."

Two years ago I visited that hill on a rainy autumn day.  From the parking lot where I left my car it took me two hours to hike up with my camera gear.  When I get to the top I started taking pictures of the Standing Stones.  To look for a dramatic effect I used a deep purple filter.  I was very surprised later when I discover on a few pictures a luminous anomaly over the Standing Stones. Now after reading about this anomaly in the Book Reviews, I have decided to show these pictures.  I took these pictures with a manual Canon T-90, Provia film, and a purple filter for effect.
