Epigraphic Society Occasional Papers
presents:
Volume 24
We are pleased to make available the current edition (Volume24) of ESOP to those wishing to order through our Society’s Website or through the order form provided by mail. There are substantial papers and reports covering a wide range of topics of interest to prior subscribers. The volume should also be of interest to individuals previously unfamiliar with ESOP, but with an interest in examining opportunities epigraphy can provide in a multi-disciplinary approach to recovering knowledge of ancient cultures. As brought out in a number of articles, such information can be directly relevant to intercultural similarities commonly observed in comparative cultural/religious studies and in the preserved traditions of indigenous people.
ESOP 24 includes articles, reports, and research papers from contributors with many different areas of expertise and interest. Evaluations of prior discoveries, along with potentially groundbreaking new findings and ideas are presented. Updates are provided in some cases to cover the gap in time between submission and publication. This volume of ESOP along with volume 23 have set the stage for continuing the "epigraphic discipline," as originally established by prior ESOP contributors and editors. We hope to further develop the continuity with the past, as well as to provide new materials.
ESOP Volume 24 costs $59.95 domestic and $69.95 international plus shipping (cost is $10 less if purchased before 31 March 2006). Please call Liberty Publishing, 800-722-7270 x135 to place orders.
